- ➤ Wisconsin hunters had a strong start this gun deer season, with a 4% rise in overall registered deer that boosted the antlered harvest to 48,000 and pushed antlerless registrations up 7%—officials warn heavy snowfall may later affect hunting conditions. The season runs through Sunday—hunters are also encouraged to donate extra deer to the venison program. WKOW

- ➤ The Rock County Sheriff's Office will honor retired K-9 Kamo and his handler on Thursday during a ceremony attended by sheriff's staff, law enforcement partners, family, and donors. Kamo retired after six years of service for medical reasons, had surgery to improve his quality of life, and will remain with Deputy Sergeant Michael and his family. WKOW

- ➤ Prairie Farms recalled its gallon fat free milk produced at the Dubuque facility after contamination with food-grade cleaning agents was discovered on Nov 24—320 gallons were sold before the issue was identified and products were removed from Woodman’s stores in Wisconsin and Illinois.
