A new sober living home for women’s long-term independence will hold an open house this Saturday in Janesville to raise funds — organizers aim to connect with local residents.

Janesville Craig High School is seeking nominations for its next Honor Wall recipient — graduates of both Janesville High School and Craig High School can apply — and applications will be reviewed by a committee, with those not chosen held for future use; nominations are accepted online or by paper until Dec. 19. Selected applications will be further considered by the committee and principal along with a retired staff member who serves as a researcher.

Governor Tony Evers and the Department of Natural Resources announced over $282 million to help 74 municipalities improve drinking water quality.

The funds will support water infrastructure projects that reduce PFAS and nitrate contamination in small + disadvantaged communities.
