- ➤ Residents in the Keeneland neighborhood on southside Janesville opposed an 87-lot expansion at a Monday night Plan Commission meeting — the commission approved the proposal and will move forward with next steps. GazetteXtra
- ➤ The Janesville Plan Commission unanimously approved a conditional use permit Monday night for a drive-through carwash at the former Hardee's restaurant site—2328 Humes. GazetteXtra
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Wisconsin insurance commissioner Nathan Houdek said people should check their Open Enrollment options immediately as the period is already underway and coverage for next year requires signing up before December 15—if the ACA subsidies expire, premiums are expected to rise. Open Enrollment will run until January 15, and he urged residents to talk with a licensed agent to avoid higher costs. WKOW
