CHS broke ground on a new soybean processing facility in Evansville on Wednesday to boost domestic processing of soybean oil and meal used for food, animal feed, and renewable fuels; the facility is expected to be operational in about two years.
🎓 Education
Janesville School District's four-year, $98-million referendum will appear on the Nov.
3 ballot along with four other proposals, and the district will host a community meeting on Oct. 14 to answer voter questions. The referendum aims to address funding needs including staffing, programs and rising utility and transportation costs.
