Good morning, Janesville.

A Janesville City Council member, whose wife is a firefighter, voted last month on a new contract — drawing ethics criticism — and his action has raised questions about a potential conflict of interest in city decisions.

After the Packers lost a close game to the Browns and blew a 10-point lead, Coach LaFleur stressed that the team must treat each game as critical—running back Jacobs said the loss has made them eager to compete in their next contest.

The defeat exposed issues with penalties and offensive depth as the team prepares to travel to Dallas in a challenging five-game stretch.
