- ➤ Rock County officials said Leroy J. Helminiak—a 37-year-old from Beloit—died after being hit by a blue 1999 GMC Jimmy in a hit-and-run near Pleasant Street and White Avenue at about 1:49 a.m. Saturday, and officers later found a crashed motorcycle at the scene after the driver fled. WKOW
