- ➤ The Rock County Medical Examiner identified the fourth person who died in the June 17 murder-suicide shooting in Janesville—she died after her injuries at a local hospital. GazetteXtra
- ➤ A GoFundMe was set up to help cover medical costs and ongoing effects for a Rock County woman who survived an attempted homicide by poisoning — police arrested Paul Vanduyne Jr. and Andrea Whitaker on multiple attempted homicide charges and they remain in Dane County Jail awaiting further court dates. - ➤ The Children's Museum of Rock County broke ground Tuesday in Janesville to start building the county's first dedicated space for hands-on learning. The museum, which is now operating in a starter space at Olde Town Mall, will offer an interactive environment for children of all ages. WKOW
