Rock County Neighbors for Responsible Development is urging local municipal governments to pause new hyperscale data center proposals with an 18-month moratorium — an effort aimed at rethinking planned development in the area.

On Thursday, the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled that the state's Minority Undergraduate Retention Grant program is unconstitutional because it limits aid to minority students.

The decision stops the program that offered grants from $250 to $2,500 to eligible Wisconsin residents.
