- ➤ Senator Tammy Baldwin met with food pantries Friday to discuss proposals that could cut SNAP benefits for about 700,000 residents in the state. The GOP-led spending bill would add work requirements and cost Wisconsin $314 million in food assistance, potentially affecting 90,000 people. WKOW
- ➤ The Wisconsin Elections Commission announced that over 200,000 registered voters must confirm their eligibility by July 15 after receiving a mailed postcard (Official Voter Registration Notice) because they have not voted in the past four years; those who do not respond will have their registration deactivated on July 31 and must re-register to vote later.
