  • State lawmakers in Madison introduced a bill on Thursday that would require hospitals to list clear prices for services — like x‑rays, MRIs and knee replacements — because officials say federal rules are not enforced properly.  WKOW

HEALTH NEWS

  • Wisconsin state health officials say residents who have not received an updated COVID-19 vaccine should get one soon as it helps prevent severe illness—especially for pregnant women, infants and the elderly. Their recommendation comes after the CDC changed its guidance and stopped advising the vaccine for healthy children and pregnant women.  WKOW
