Good morning, Janesville.

Despite last month’s flood damage forcing them out of their building, First Lutheran Church continues its monthly food pantry in partnership with Second Harvest Foodbank and volunteers — repairs will cost millions and the congregation may relocate.

The Janesville Patriotic Society is hosting a Memorial Day parade this weekend where locals can cheer on two 99-year-old World War II veterans (honoring their service).

The event offers a chance for the community to celebrate history and legacy.

On Monday, May 18, the Janesville Noon Rotary Club hosted its annual Student Recognition Luncheon at Rotary Botanical Gardens to honor high school students from Craig High School, Parker High School + Milton High School.
