  • Second Harvest Food Bank is receiving 20,000 pounds of dairy items including cheese, yogurt, and butter donated through the World Championship Cheese Contest and will distribute them across southern Wisconsin.  WKOW

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Attorney General Josh Kaul joined a coalition on Tuesday to oppose a federal rule that would cap student loans for graduate students in health fields at $20,500 a year & $100,000 total. He warned the measure could limit funding for future healthcare professionals.  WKOW

SPORTS NEWS

  • The St. Ambrose Academy boys basketball team secured its first playoff win in program history by defeating Cambria-Friesland 69-36 in its first playoff home game yesterday at St. Mary Goretti Catholic Church (improving its record from a 3-22 season to 18-6 entering the playoffs).  WKOW
  • The Evansville High School wrestling team aims to win the team state title at the upcoming Division 2 Tournament at the La Crosse Center, wrestling East Troy in the quarterfinals on Friday at 5:30 p.m. They continue to build on a legacy of nine state titles in the past five years.  WKOW
